The rumble

The next day I got up early and went to the hospital with two-bit to see Johnny and dally.
Johnny passed out half way though the visit so we went to go see Dallas. He has mad that he would miss the Socs vs greasers rumble but other than that he was him self. That night was the fight and I wasn’t feeling so good but I never told anyone. Speaking about the rumble I don’t remember much of it other than being kicked in the head a lotand that we won. Dally showed up at the rumble and after drove me to the hospital to see johnny. Thats when it happened johnny just die after he told me to stay gold he just died .Dally lost it and ran out he robbed a grocer store and was killed by the cops while fleeing. His hand gun wasn’t even loaded he just wanted to die because thats what happened to the only person he ever care about Johnny.

The rescue

With in no time to spare we were in the church thowing the kids out to Dally I remember the roof caving in and me jumping out at the last second. The I blacked out. Next thing I knew I was in the hospital sitting being asked questions by reporters and police officers. I was told by one of the doctors that Johnnys back was broken and that he would never walk again but dally would be okay.

The fire

He gave me a note from my brother sodapop.Dally was hungry to he took us to the DQ while we were talking he said that us greasers had a spy. That spy was Cherry she was also the girlfriend of the guy johnny killed .She would testify that it was self defence and that the Socs were drunk. Thats when Johnny said were going back to turn our selves in he sad we could be let off easy. On the drive back to the church Dally said he didn’t want Johnny to get hardened in jail like what happened to him. When we got back to the church it was on fire. There were adults standing watching with little kids all around them I herd someone say "there are still kids in there thats when johnny took off. He ran to the church with me hot on his heels.

The hair cut

When Johnny came back he was carrying a bag of supplies. As we went though the bag I found bleach and looked at johnny and said ‘‘oh no not my hair". But after a short argument we both cut each others hair with johnnys switchblade and I bleached mine now were disguised. Johnny had also bought a copy of gone with the wind which I would read to johnny to pass time. Had to explain some parts of it to him tho. One morning I woke up to Dally staring down at me. Finally contact to the outside world.

The hideout

Johnny and I snuck on the train and I fell asleep. When I woke up. We were jumping off the train. It took awhile but soon enough. We where mostly awake and walking the long up hill walk to the church. When we got there I lied down and fell a sleep again when I woke up johnny was gone dirt he left a note in the dust. He was gone to get supples. I went out back and got some water from the pump it was ice cold. My imagination started to run I started to run off I began to get bad thoughts began to flood my mind I thought what would happen if johnny was caught of if Dally was killed and we were struck at that church for the rest of our lives.

The murder

The car stoped and 5 Socs got out. They were all drunk. One of them said ‘‘what do you know here’s the little greasers that picked up our girls". They began to insult us to the point wear I had to say something. The next thing I saw was water, they were drowning me. I thought I was going to die but then their grip slackened the water seemed to change colour and I passed out. I woke up lying next to the fountain and saw two people one lying down and one sitting up I realised the one was johnny and the other was a Soc then it all came back. Johnny and needed help he had killed a Soc. We went to Dallys place he would know what to do. Dallas gave us 50 bucks a gun and he gave me a dry shirt. Most important he gave us advice he told us to sneak on the 315 to Windrixille and told us to go to an abandoned church and to get food in the morning before the story got out.

Running away

It was a blue mustang. They were defiantly Socs two of them got out of the car and stared to talk to Cherry and Marcia . We assumed they were their boy friends. They asked the girls way they were hang out with greasers like us. They were looking for a fight by calling us bums and saying‘‘we got four more of use in the back seat". Two-bit through me a broken pop bottle and pulled out his knife. Before the fight started Cherry and Macia said they would get a ride home with the Socs. So Johnny and I went to the lot and two-bit went off to go get drunk. While johnny and were talking we must have fallen a sleep when I woke up I had no idea what time it was so I went home. When I opened the door Darry was on his feet yelling ‘‘where have you been do you not what time it is". Next thing I knew he hit me up against the door. He stared at just realising what he had done. I ran all the ways back to the lot. I only stoped to grab johnny and say ‘‘were running away". We ran all the way to the park then stoped. And sat down for a smoke. Then I saw it the blue mustang.

Jumped

As I was walking home from the theatre one night I began to with I had some company. Suddenly I did. I was shocked and scared but their was nothing I could do. I was surrounded by a group of Socs. They began to beat me and one was about to slit my throat. Then the miracle happened are gang showed up and scarred the Socs off. Before we went home Dally a member of our gang said he would take me and Johnny to see some movie the next day. So a day later Johnny Dally and I found our selves sitting behind two girls who were Socs at the drive in theatre. Johnny and I were just minding our own business but Dally being him self had to go and bother them. After he left johnny and I went and sat up with them and we learned that their names were Marcia and Cherry. Soon our friend two-bit showed up and by then the movie was over. The girls needed a ride home so we were walking them to two-bits house to get his car when a car full of Socs pulled up be side us.
